Tongmyong University, Korea inaugurated the only representative Office in the South of Vietnam on overseas study consultancy and support

Tongmyong University, Korea is a strategic partner in training human resources for Logistics - International Training Program of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport (UT-HCMC). On Monday, September 24^th, 2018, on the same occasion of the Opening Ceremony of Academic Year 2018-2019, UT-HCMC and Tongmyong University, Korea inaugurated the only representative in the South of Vietnam on overseas study consultancy and support at UT-HCMC.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Thu, Party Committee Secretary, President of UT-HCMC and Dr. Jung. Hong sub, President of Tongmyong University, Korea signed the Cooperation Memorandum at the Opening Ceremony of Academic Year 2018-2019 with the participation of nearly 500 delegates, guests, officials, lecturers and students of UT-HCMC.

Accordingly, the Cooperation Memorandum expresses cooperation between Tongmyong University, Korea and UT-HCMC in admission and support students in the South (from Hue toward the south) to study at Tongmyong University, Korea. International Education and Cooperation Institute (IEC), under directly UT-HCMC is the only representative of Tongmyong University, Korea in the South of Vietnam in managing training activities and ensuring the quality of the Korean program to supplement overseas study students; supporting the admissions procedures at Tongmyong University, Korea and the Korean Visa procedures for students.

In addition to the International Training Programs, the Cooperation Memorandum will be the new door to help students in the Southern areas with significant advantages of overseas studying in Korea, moreover, strengthen the relationship of the two schools in continued and sustainable development.
