"The Academia & Industry Networking 2018": Scholarships opportunities and attractive jobs for students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport (UT-HCMC)

In order to create favorable conditions for students to actively seek scholarships opportunities and attractive jobs at domestic and foreign enterprises, on November 27, 2018, HCMC University of Transport cooperated with National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) to play hosts to the special event "The Academia & Industry Networking 2018".

With the participation of nearly 40 corporations, enterprises and educational organizations, the special event "The Academia & Industry Networking 2018" is organized in the form of consulting and admission booths of enterprises’ participation. Students directly met recruiters, found job information and applied for many attractive jobs such as: Economics; Marketing; Project Management; Personnel; Quality Management; Marine; Mechanical; Construction; Electrical Engineering, etc. Especially, students who were looking for study opportunities in developed countries, the special event was the place to connect, help clear consideration up on scholarships, study programs and application process.

The festival was as a bridge to help students of universities - colleges in Ho Chi Minh City to have opportunities to meet, express their own abilities and find job opportunities, which are suitable for their trained majors in prestigious enterprises. In addition, the festival is also the place for enterprises to choose and recruit young, dynamic and professional staffs to meet the demand of sustainable development of enterprises.

Connecting with the enterprises in training is one of the most important development goals that UT-HCMC has been implementing in the past years. UT-HCMC’s representative signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with enterprises associated with important goals on promoting UT-HCMC in the direction of applying and training human resources to meet the requirements of enterprises after graduation.
