The 1st International Conference on Transportation was held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport

On February 27, 2020, Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport (UT-HCMC) combined with Russian University of Transport (MIIT) in organizing The 1st International Conference on Transportation with the topic "The problems of transport infrastructure development ".

The conference had number of participants more than 50 lecturers, trainees, students and experts from The Institute of Construction of MIIT and Faculty of Transport Engineering and Faculty of Transport Economics of UT-HCMC and representatives of The Ho Chi Minh City Management Authority for Urban Railways (MAUR).

Continuing the successful cooperation between the two universities signed in 2013, this conference is an important milestone marking the development in two universities’ academic exchanges. The conference attracted 37 articles posted in two files in the journal with index VAK and DOI, of which 17 reports were presented on the achievements, challenges and orientating transportation infrastructure development between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Hoang, Vice Presient of UT-HCMC gave an opening speech in recognizing the development of comprehensive cooperation between two universities and stressing that with a good cooperation between two universities, two universities would gain more achievements. Representative of MIIT, Mrs. Telyatnikova L.E thanked UT-HCM for co-organizing the conference, praised the good relationship between two universities and believed that both universities would gain considerable achievements in the upcoming time.
