Through this section, they were understood more about methods of managing and allocating people based on productivity, seasonal fluctuations and production processes.

They were very excited to experience the famous 5S philosophy, KAIZEN of Japan. Through practice exercises, they found that the 5S philosophy is applied not only in work but also in daily life. When people remind each other to follow 5S that will create a good habit and make their work more effective. Rely on performance analysis, we can find out which parts of the performance indicator are low for improvement; Operational analysis, time analysis to find excess and waste time. Through a lot of analysis, we will find out the arising problem and find ways to improve constantly.

In class sessions, students were participated in practice sessions organized by teachers to give them the opportunity to apply what they have learned, such as practice games, especially packing a set of products as samples. They were divided into groups, each of which would plan the work, assign personnel, conduct work, video, and measure work time. After the end of the work, the teams would meet again to analyze the video to find out where improvements need to be made and, at the same time, to come up with an improvement solution for the next time, and thus the teams would achieve more and more productivity.

In addition to learning the theory, the intensive course was also organized fact-finding trips for students to big companies in the industry. The first trip of the students was to ISUZU VIETNAM factory.
