Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport participated in the Open Day and Graduation Ceremony of vocational training program organized by Delegate of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam
Attending at the Ceremony, there were representatives of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Hoang, Vice President in charge of UT-HCMC, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thi Thu Hoa - Head of Department of Logistics and Multimodal Transport Management, Faculty of Transport Economics, UT-HCMC, lecturers in the Department, UT-HCMC’s International Relations, Delegate of German Industry and Trade in Vietnam and partner companies of the program: A.Hartrodt Logistics (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., Bolloré Logistics Vietnam, Indo Trans Cooperation (ITL), Logwin Air + Ocean Vietnam Co., Ltd., Rhenus Freight Vietnam LLC, Schenker Vietnam Co., Ltd.
Lecturers and more than 70 students attended the ceremony
The Open Day has attracted a great attention of more than 70 students specialized in Logistics and Multimodal Transport Management on opportunities to experience high-quality and practical study and work environment in companies for specializing in "Freight Forwarding and Logistics Agent".

Accordingly, students will learn both theory and practice at Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport. In addition, students are able to work directly at German Logistics companies in Vietnam (2 days of practice / week + practice during summer vacation). At the end of the course, with the good results of the exam with the German titles within 2.5 years, students will be received a vocational training certificate according to the standards of the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) issued by the Delegate of the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam. Therefore, after studying the program and graduating from university, students will be received a parallel degree including the University Degree of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport and the German Vocational Training Certificate.

Students were participating in applying for the job and having face-to-face interviews with representatives of international companies in Logistics
Together with the Open Day, the Graduation Ceremony also took place and students of the first training course were awarded the Certificates of Completion. To Thanh Sang, who is a representative of student of the first training course, shared the experiences that he felt more mature and confident about knowledge, skills and experiences through the training program. What’s more, he also gave his sincere gratitude to UT-HCMC’s lecturers who have been teaching him during the course. 5 graduates of the first course (To Thanh Sang, Phan Hong Tuyet – Class: QL16CLCB; Luong Duc Tung, Nguyen Thai Hoa - QL16CLCA; Nguyen Van Tai - QL16B) have been working directly at multinational companies leading in the field of Freight Forwarding and Logistics.
