Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport officially took part in capacity building project in the European Union's education sector

From 10th to 12th December, 2018, the study group of HCMC University of Transport (UT-HCMC), including Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Quoc Hien – Dean of the Faculty of Transportation Engineering, Dr. Nguyen Tien Thuy - Director of International Education and Cooperation Institute (IEC), Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice Director of International Education and Cooperation Institute (IEC), Dr. Mai Luu – Head of the Division of Bridge and Tunnel had the first official meeting at University of Warwick, UK on launching project "ENabling Humanitarian Attributes for Nurturing Community-based Engineering" (or ENHANCE).

The Project supports and enhances the quality of undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs of the partner schools by integrating modern educational methods.

With the duration of the three-year implementation, the Project had received €999,000 funding from the European Commission under the cooperation of Erasmus+. Especially, University of Warwick, UK is a host with the joining of eight other members from Greece, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Vietnam. UT-HCMC and HCMC University of Technology are two members which will be representatives of Vietnam to take participate in this Project.
