Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport and Kazan State Power Engineering University, Russia signed a Memorandum of Understanding

From December 12 to 23, 2022, Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport (UTH) welcomed Kazan State Power Engineering University’s delegation, Russia led by Prof. Dr. Robert Khizbullin for a visit and discussion of potential collaborations in education and in-depth scientific research on the field of renewable energy.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Phuong, President of UTH and Prof. Dr. Robert Khizbullin signed a Memorandum of Understanding, setting the groundwork for future collaboration between the two universities. In terms of training, the two universities will focus on exchanging lecturers, developing and combining training programs at master's and doctoral levels. Moreover, the two universities intend to co-organize symposiums, workshops, research and publish collaborative publications in the fields of science and technology in order to find funding for the implementation of applied research outputs.

On the occasion of the business trip, Dr. Le Van Vang, Vice President of UTH held an online meeting to express his congratulations to Prof. Edward Abdullazyanov, President of Kazan State Power Engineering University and his colleagues on Energy Conservation Day. He also acknowledged the delegation’s contributions to UTH and outlined two universities’ agreed-upon areas of cooperation.

Additionally, UTH and Kazan State Power Engineering University held a thematic report with the participation of lecturers and students majoring in automative engineering on electric cars, charging stations and requirements for practice facilities in training the automative engineering.
