HCMC University of Transport’s students attended the Thematic Talks on "Occupational Safety and Health in the Industry 4.0”

On September 5th, 2018, HCMC University of Transport’s students (UT-HCMC) attended the Thematic Talks on "Occupational Safety and Health in the Industry 4.0" coordinated by the U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), HCMC Institute for Occupational Safety and Health and UT-HCMC.

Attending the Thematic Talks were representatives of the Board of Presidents, Heads of Departments related UT-HCMC and Mrs. Margaret Kitt, Deputy Director of NIOSH, Mrs. Jennifer Lincoln, Deputy Director of Science of NIOSH – Be in charge of states in the South of America, Director of the NIOSH Center for Maritime Safety and Health Studies, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan - Senior Expert in Occupational Safety and Health, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai - Director of HCMC Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.

CExperts were introducing and sharing the experience of occupational safety and health

At the Thematic Talks, UT-HCMC’s students were introduced by American experts to the U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health and shared experiences on occupational safety and health.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Thu, Party Committee Secretary, President of UT-HCMC gave colorful bunch of flowers to experts

The Thematic Talks is a good opportunity to help UT-HCMC’s lecturers and students understand, improve knowledge on safety and health in labor and production, minimize occupational risks and accidents, ensure stability and sustainable development of UT-HCMC in particular and the social community in general which might be important to create a stable base for socio-economic development.
