Faculty of Transportation Engineering

1/ Introduction

The Faculty of Transportation Engineering was established basing on the Division of Water Engineering and Continential Shelf ... which was set up in 1997. At that time, Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport was a branch of Vietnam Maritime University. After 20 years of establishment and development, the Faculty is responsible for administrating and training students in undergraduate, postgraduate, inter-college and in-service levels with the number of nearly 3.000 students. There are more than 50 teaching staff and officials with 15 doctorates, 11 doctorate candidates who work in 5 Divisions and 1 laboratory. Students of The Faculty of Transportation Engineering are some of the cores of the social activities and contest teams of the university in competitions about scientific research such as VIFOTEC, EUREKA or national mechanical contests.
